This is the ship that Admiral Rae Sloane is most proud of. Sloane has been confirmed. Star Wars – Slave Ship Audiobook. Overall, it’s a story of a solitary male fighting to survive a dispute in between superpowers, which look for to either destroy him, or use him for his unique skills– which is simultaneously absurd externally, as well as oh-so-typical of large organizations.

- Slave II was a MandalMotors Pursuer-class enforcement ship, a patrol craft, which was popular with the Mandalorian police units since it was tough and good at dealing with pirates, as well as having the cargo space for the usual police needs. Once Fett bought the ship, he immediately went about modifying it so it would hold all the 'nasty surprises' that victims of his other ship experienced.
- A powerful pursuit craft made famous by Jango Fett in the days of the Republic, this ship was inherited by Boba Fett for his career as a bounty hunter. The aged but effective ship is loaded with hidden defensive and offensive weaponry and equipment, and has a reputation earned from decades of successfully capturing fugitives.
Contains spoilers for The Mandalorian season 2, episode 6 — 'Chapter 14: The Tragedy'
The first episode of season 2 of The Mandalorian ended with the massive reveal of Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) still being alive. While it appeared as though he met his demise in a Sarlacc Pit in Return of the Jedi, that was actually just a minor setback. As The Mandalorian revealed, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) retrieved Boba Fett's armor from Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant), and apparently, the bounty hunter has been tracking him around the galaxy trying to get his gear back ever since.
That journey reaches its peak during 'Chapter 14: The Tragedy,' in a massive showdown on Tython. Din is more than a little skeptical about returning the armor, and, to make matters more complicated, Boba Fett isn't the only antagonistic force in the episode. Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) has also been tracking Din, and a fleet of Stormtroopers descend upon the Mandalorian, kidnapping Grogu (aka the Child, aka Baby Yoda) in the process. While they started as adversaries, a truce develops between Din and Boba, and together they set out to rescue Grogu.
With only a couple more episodes left in The Mandalorian season 2, viewers will presumably get the chance to see Boba Fett in all his awesomeness for the remaining stories. We think there's one specific way this partnership could end up playing out to Din's advantage.
Boba Fett could give Din Djarin the Slave II starship
During the battle with Moff Gideon's forces, Din's starship, the Razor Crest, ends up getting destroyed. All that effort taking it from one planet to the next for frequent repairs ends up for naught, as the ship erupts into a fireball. Luckily, Boba Fett is a nice enough guy to join Din's quest to rescue Grogu, and he brings him aboard his own starship, Slave I, to take him to Nevarro.
Now that the two are carpooling together, Din's all right without a ship for the time being, but he inevitably needs another one if he's going to continue traveling around the galaxy doing side quests. That's what makes us think that by the end of this new journey, Boba is going to somehow lead Din to Slave II.
In Star Wars continuity, Slave II is the starship Boba Fett acquires after he vows revenge on Han Solo and wants to keep a low profile. While Slave II is eventually stolen from Boba Fett, there's always a chance this storyline could play out differently on The Mandalorian. It wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility for Boba to have the ship tucked away somewhere; after the two are successful at rescuing Grogu, perhaps the bounty hunter will dive Din the starship as a way of saying thanks for giving him his father's armor back.
It would be an awesome piece of fan service, and Din wouldn't have to travel from one planet to the next in the equivalent of a beat-up 1982 Honda Civic.
